1960’s Danish teak desk chair similar to known Johannes Andersen model Sonja
The Sonja chair is one of the lesser known rarer designs by Johannes Andersen , and this is either a variant of it or an interpretation of it by a Danish maker of the same time . The construction and the teak used is typical of the period , as was the original very worn upholstery which we’ve had replaced with new leather . It came with a pair of Danish teak Kai Kristiansen style chairs also from the early 1960’s .
The teak has been cleaned and oiled .
If you’re looking for a fairly narrow desk chair this one is stylish , and the curved back gives a good support .
