1960s Swedish teak sideboard possibly Swedish
We had a virtually identical sideboard about 4 years ago , but it had pieced open hairpin legs rather than these solid ones . The legs are very unusual and distinctive design . The handles are very similar to those on pieces designed by Borge Mogensen . We couldn’t find another online when we had the last one , and again when we’ve recently searched , but thought it might be Swedish because birch interiors are a typical feature of pieces by Swedish makers .
It’s been cleaned and oiled and all the leg joints re-glued as they were a bit loose when we bought it . There are no obvious marks or scratches , but as with all pieces of this age you will see very minor signs of wear if you look very closely .
