1960s Spottrup of Denmark rosewood and leather stool
Spottrup did make other furniture but they are best known for their stools in teak or rosewood. This one dates to the 1960’s as it has a Danish Furniture Control label attached which is only found on 1960’s pieces. It’s also fully stamped by Spottrup.
The rosewood has been cleaned and polished as it was looking a little faded. It has its original black leather upholstery, but it is in vintage condition as you’ll see in the photos. Our upholsterer will charge £15 for re-upholstery plus cost of any fabric. At present we only have bottle green or chestnut leather pieces available that would fit without buying a full leather hide.
It’s small enough to post as a parcel which would cost approx £20.
