Berick Furniture late 1950s sapele chest of drawers .
Berick was the brand name by the old established quality maker of Beresford and Hicks who specialised in making high end reproduction furniture in the Queen Anne style . However from time to time they did make more contemporary pieces of which this is an example .
Its in ok vintage condition , but there are a few small marks that will be noticeable on close inspection but not from a few feet away . Sapele was used in British furniture by a few makers in the late 1950s , and is a wood that’s related to mahogany with a slightly stripy grain to it .
A good size with plenty of useful storage .
