Danish 1960’s teak dining table possibly by Kai Kristiansen

Danish 1960’s teak dining table possibly by Kai Kristiansen

We bought this lovely table with a set of 4 chairs by Kai Kristiansen and found the identical set together online . Both the table and chairs had been given a horrible finish at some point . We’ve finally got around to cleaning the table some 2 years after buying it , the chairs were done a while back and sold very quickly . We recently bought a different model of Kai Kristiansen chair so have shown these chairs with it in one of the photos .

The table has cleaned beautifully and the leaves are identical in colour unlike many you’ll see where the top has faded to a different colour . As with the vast bulk of Danish tables the legs unscrew so it’s easy to move and store and costs less to deliver also , with no worries about narrow doorways causing problems !

It’s a nice simple design that’s lighter in look than a lot of tables . As you see it starts out as a circle taking 4 chairs , and then with both leaves in place leaf it will easily take 6 . The chairs shown are much wider than most dining chairs . We have other Danish chair options available so just ask although some are waiting for new papercord seats at present .

It’s 120cms in diameter and each leaf adds 36cms taking it to 192cms .
