Frederik Kayser 10/12 seat 60s teak dining table.
A stunning unusual large teak dining table designed by Frederik Kayser for Gustav Bahus of Norway . Its apparently known as the ” Captains dining table ” . It dates to the 60s and came to us with only 6 Danish chairs , although it will comfortably seat 10 , and less comfortably 12 when fully extended .
Not only is it really smart , its very practical as unlike most dining tables there are no legs to get in the way of chairs , and unlike most pedestal tables its very stable .
We’ve had the same model once before but without leaves , and it sold very quickly .
