Ib Kofod Larsen G Plan teak dining table to be re-polished soon
We have one of these lovely G Plan teak dining tables designed by Ib Kofod Larsen for their up-market Danish range in c1962 , and made until c 1967 .
As with 98% of G Plan dining tables the legs are glued and screwed . The leaves store neatly under the table when not in use .
NOT THIS ONE BUT ANOTHER RECENTLY SOURCED WHICH WE WILL BE REPOLISHING . Currently in the restoration queue , if it’s of interest let us know and we can move it and have it done soon .
As often the case the top was originally more faded than the leaves and had a few marks after over 50 years of use . From past experience it will clean up beautifully and has a lovely figure to the teak veneers .
Height 72cm, length 153cm, width 87cm. With the extending leafs sliding out of each end it increases the length to 236cms and will then easily seat 8 , and less comfortably 10 . We currently have 2 sets of 4 of the G Plan Ib Kofod Larsen chairs which when cleaned and re-upholstered can go with this smart dining table .
WE ALWAYS HAVE A GOOD STOCK OF UNRESTORED PIECES , MANY OF WHICH WE SELL IN BULK TO FOREIGN TRADE BUYERS . WE USUALLY HAVE 2 0R 3 MONTHS RESTORATION QUEUE , SO PICK WHICH PIECES WE WANT TO HAVE DONE FIRST TO GIVE US A BALANCED STOCK OF RESTORED PIECES .
