Late 1960’s Danish teak sideboard possibly by Mogens Kold
This lovely stylish Danish teak sideboard is really nice quality . The cut out drawer handle design is the same as on a labelled Mogens Kold sideboard we had which was an unusual model which we couldn’t find anywhere online . The circular door handles were also used on that sideboard and another Mogens Kold model we’ve had in the past . The drawers have green finished bases which was a feature on the internal drawers of the second less rare model we had . The base is also reminiscent of Mogens Kold pieces , but the curved form of the front is more a feature found on sideboards designed by Johannes Andersen . We’ve had a couple of known MK pieces without labels , but as we can’t find this model illustrated anywhere all we can say is possibly by them .
It had some very minor marks when we got it but all it took was a light clean and oil to remove them . There are no obvious ring marks , scratches or other damage which can be shown in a photograph . However every piece of vintage furniture will have some very minor signs of wear if you look extremely closely .
It’s 200.5cms long , 76cms high and 45.5cms deep
