Long Upholstered footstool by A Younger 1964.
This unusually long stool by the British maker A Younger is first seen illustrated in the 1964 catalogue. Originally found in the bedroom section as a dressing table stool, we feel it is much more suited as a hallway piece or used as a footstool in front of a sofa.
Long, low and simple, this well made stool is in dark teak, correctly known as afromosia, it has some wear to the wood in places but is generally in clean vintage condition.
The top has been re upholstered in a good quality dark navy 100% wool fabric from Abraham Moon Fabric.
Materials: Afromosia wool
Dimensions: 122cm x 42cm, height 37cm
