McIntosh teak Dunbar sideboard from 1968 in good vintage condition
Apart from the standard Dunvegan and Dunfermline sideboards that McIntosh of Kirkcaldy made for nearly 20 years most of their models were only made for 2 or 3 years , and some only for a year . This model is in the 1968 catalogue we have along with a variant of the standard double leaf table that we bought from a very clean house locally . It’s had one very careful owner from new and stood well out of the light all its life so hasn’t faded much over the years . It’s in as good a vintage condition as you’ll find . There is one small mark that we have shown in a photograph . We can have the top cleaned for a further £125 , but think most people will not require this .
It’s 213cms long and about 76cms high and 46cms deep .
Most McIntosh pieces were designed by Tom Robertson and his assistant A.D.R.Bennett apart from a few pieces around 1962-64 which were by Val Rossi before he left to join Beithcraft .
