Mid  1960s Greaves and Thomas teak long coffee table with drawers

These lovely coffee tables were mainly made with a mid tola finish or mahogany , but in the mid 1960s they also sold them veneered in teak . We’ve seen plenty of them in tola and mahogany , but this is the first one we’ve managed to find in teak . The drawers open to both sides and have stylish brass handles . They were described as a sofa table in the Greaves and Thomas catalogues .

Greaves and Thomas were best known for their stylish and well made sofa beds and armchairs , but also made some good quality furniture like this table .

This one is currently in fair vintage condition with a few small marks if you look closely at the top . It’s priced in vintage condition at £275 , but it can be cleaned and oiled for a total price of £350 .

It’s 150cms long , 46cms deep and 41cms high .
