Danish teak and leather desk chair by Arne Wahl Iversen
Solid teak desk chair with new black leather upholstery. This chair is a very similar to the Kai Kristiansen designed model 31 teak A framed chair from the same period, however the proportions are far more generous on this chair, having a broader back rest than the Kai Kristiansen version. The seat pad is sprung giving a plumper appearance.
The teak frame is in nice condition with only slight wear, it has been cleaned and oiled.
When searching for something else we on the Danish Design Museum Furniture Index we found that this lovely chair was designed by Arne Wahl Iversen c 1957 for Soro Stolefabrik and illustrated in that year’s edition of Mobilia . Arne Wahl Iversen is best known for his lovely small desks which are highly sought after today .
