Pair of late 1950s Kandya kitchen/bar stools designed by Frank Guille
The original vinyl tops were torn so we’ve had them re-upholstered in a mid-blue 100% wool fabric .
Kandya were well known in the late 1950s and 60s for their contemporary kitchen furniture . The accomplished designer Frank Guille designed a number of successful pieces for them including these lovely stools .
The black metal frames are in good vintage condition and one still has its original Kandya label . The black rubber stoppers are different on each stool , but they have been together from new . These stoppers often wear over time , but all are in good condition .
The stools are 65.5cms in height ( highest point at sides ) and the seats are 38cms wide and 30cms deep .
