A set of 4 teak Mcintosh dining chairs with new dark grey 100% pure new wool upholstered seats. Nice proportions with a generous seat these comfortable teak dining chairs work well around a variety of shaped teak dining tables.
A. H. McIntosh and company were furniture makers based in Kirkaldy, Scotland. This dining chair design, Dunfermline was made circa 1970, finished in teak with the option of several different upholstery fabrics for the seats in the original sales catalogue.
We have more of this design and can match sets up. In their original condition they are priced at £100 each for a carver, that is with arms and £50 each for a dining chair without arms.
Upholstery, if you would like the seat pads re upholstering in a fabric of your own choice the cost of the work is £12.50 per seat pad plus the cost of your fabric. Each pair of seat pads need 60cm of fabric, so a set of 4 needs 1 meter 20cm, set of six needs 1 meter 80cm.
We also have a pair of Carvers with the seats upholstered in the dark grey as these.
