Small Richard Hornby early 60s teak sideboard

Small Richard Hornby early 60s teak sideboard.

A quality small Richard Hornby early 60s teak / afromosia sideboard .At only 123cms (4ft )in length this is a really small sideboard as anything under 152.5 cms ( 5ft) is rare .
Richard Hornby designed for the small British maker Fyne Ladye Furniture in the late 50s and early 60s , and this is typical of his understated designs . The quality of their pieces is always really good with nice simple detailing and finishing . It would have been more expensive when new than much larger pieces by G Plan etc .
