Smart G Plan Quadrille 1960s double teak chest of drawers
We think that G Plan’s Quadrille bedroom furniture which was in production from c 1964 to a 1969 is much more stylish than the commonly seen Fresco which was introduced in 1968 and made for many years . It wasn’t anywhere near as commercially successful as Fresco so isn’t seen in such large quantities and this particular model is probably the hardest to find of all the range apart from the wardrobes .
We’ve had it cleaned and re-polished , so now it looks great with it’s darker ” rosewood ” veneered projecting handles contrasting nicely with the teak . It doesn’t store as much as the Fresco chests of similar size , but the end supports are so very stylish and mean that this particular piece would work well as a stand for a TV or Hi-Fi .
Its 132cms wide 71.5cms high and 46cms ( plus projecting handles ) deep
