Smart late 1950s British mahogany dressing table with original gilt patterned glass top.
We’ve had one of these lovely quality dressing tables once before but quite a few years ago. Don’t think we ever found out who made it but at the time there were still a lot of smaller companies around who didn’t label their pieces.
It had a few minor marks on it when we bought it but it’s now been cleaned and given an oiled finish and is looking really good again. You do have to expect the odd very minor signs of wear if you look extremely closely at any piece of vintage furniture but there is nothing obvious that will show up in a photograph.
This attractive mahogany dressing table has its original inset glass which is great because it protects the most vulnerable surface and it has a lovely gilt pattern that adds to the aesthetics of the piece. The glass has no cracks, chips or noticeable scratches.
Dimensions: Its 122cms wide and 41.5cms in depth
