Teak McIntosh coffee table circa 1969.
McIntosh furniture makers made several versions of this shaped coffee table, single table with no storage underneath and another with two nests under it. This long low coffee table is a slightly unusual one, illustrated in the 1969 furniture by McIntosh brochure it is their new version of the “Long John” coffee table with new storage sections underneath. The trough in the middle was designed to store vinyl records, LP’s. Perfectly usable for books or as a magazine rack.
Attractive, well made and very useful mid century coffee table.
