Teak McIntosh Vintage dining Chairs Set of 6.
A. H. McIntosh and company were furniture makers based in Kirkaldy, Scotland. This dining chair design, Dunfermline was made circa 1970, finished in teak with the option of several different upholstery fabrics for the seats in the original sales catalogue.
These Dunfermline chairs have pale mint green velvet upholstery in good vintage condition. This model is a good strong design with wide, comfortable seats and sits well with various table shapes.
We have more of this design and can matched sets up. In their original condition they are priced at £100 each for a carver, that is with arms and £50 each for a dining chair without arms.
Upholstery, if you would like the seat pads re upholstering in a fabric of your own choice the cost of the work is £12.50 per seat pad plus the cost of your fabric. Each pair of seat pads need 60cm of fabric, so a set of 4 needs 1 meter 20cm, set of six needs 1 meter 80cm.
We have fabric suggestions on our Pure Imaginations website or e mail for further help in choosing fabrics.
