Thams of Denmark 60s armchair for re-upholstery.
Thams of Vejen in Denmark were one of the larger Danish companies to make sofas and chairs in the 1960’s and 70’s. We’ve had this model by them before and it has a very good quality frame with legs that unscrew .
Danish armchairs from this era are well worth buying and investing in re-upholstery as they were made in small numbers and of a quality that is in only found in the most expensive pieces made today .
Our upholsterer will charge around £250 and will need about 5 meters of standard width fabric. This will include placing a fire-retardant barrier fabric as well as your choice of fabric/fabrics to create something that is unique to you
Dimensions: width 85cm, depth 80cm, height 75cm. Seat height 37cm, width 52cm and depth 52cm
