White + Newton early 60s chest of drawers.
White + Newton early 60s chest of drawers designed by Arthur Edwards .
One of Arthur’s smartest designs for the quality firm of White + Newton of Portsmouth . The wood isn’t teak , but is probably sapele or another exotic wood that was used in the early 1960s .
A good useful size at 61cms wide , 40.5cms deep and 102cms high .
It was faded and had a few minor marks when we got it , but its been fully cleaned and re-polished and looks fantastic with no obvious marks .
Dimensions: 61cms wide , 40.5cms deep and 102cms high
