Once a sale has been agreed, we will then forward you an invoice. Our preferred method of payments are BAC’s or Cheque. We can also accept Paypal or cash upon delivery. Cash upon delivery can only be performed when we are delivering your goods ourselves. We cant accept card payments. Please note that goods cannot be dispatched until full payment has been received and funds have cleared. Once payment has been received we will issue a receipt of payment.
Now you have purchased your piece, the next step is delivery. We conduct a percentage of the deliveries ourselves. We also have a small network of trusted, reliable couriers which we use. The price will vary slightly depending on the scale / No. of pieces, location, and timings. Most of our deliveries are in the UK, but with a growing export market we also have a courier specific for most parts of Europe.
To obtain a quote or discuss delivery please email email@example.com
If you are arranging your own courier for collection / return of goods, we can’t be held responsible for items that are lost or damaged during transit, it’s a good idea to be aware of the hauliers insurance policy and terms & conditions. If requested we can for a small charge wrap all items, and what this will entail should be discussed with us at least 2 working days prior to collection. Do note that some carriers will not cover damage to items that they have not packed themselves even if they do not offer a packing service.
We want you to be delighted with any product you buy from us, we try to picture and describe our products as accurately as possible but if you are not completely satisfied, please email firstname.lastname@example.org to let us know within 14 days of receipt of goods. We can then arrange to refund its purchase price (nb the refund will not include the original cost of carriage & packing) once the goods have been successfully returned to us. This is in addition to your statutory rights. We will try and arrange collection of goods where we can, this will incur a collection fee, the amount will be dependent on location. If there is a significant flaw/ structural defect with the item that you weren’t made aware of, then we will arrange collection at our own cost.

We operate under the VAT Margin Scheme for Secondhand furniture. This means we can not show VAT separately on items we sell, and purchasers therefore can not reclaim any VAT. We can send a separate invoice for re-polishing and re-upholstery and also for any new fabric we supply to customers, so that if you are VAT registered the VAT can be reclaimed on this part of the transaction.
