The frame of this lovely English sofa bed is afromosia , and its still upholstered in its original green Harris Tweed wool fabric . It does need re-webbing ( which we can have done , cost depends on whether expensive Pirelli webbing is used or a less expensive webbing ) . Its 205cms long .
The current wool fabric may possibly meet UK 1988 Fire Regs , but as the only way to test is to set light to it and see how quickly it goes up in flames this is hard to prove ! We would suggest re-upholstery if bought for UK domestic use .
