By Schillers Polstermobelfabrik this wonderful pair of Danish mid 1950s armchairs were designed in 1955/6 and are apparently their model A24 . This is top quality upholstery manufacture using traditional materials and techniques married with great design . Possibly designed by Kurt Ostervig who worked at the time with Schillers . With oak feet and teak arm detailing this is a good opportunity to have a fabulous pair of chairs upholstered in your own choice of fabric rather than ours !
VERY VERY COMFORTABLE OF COURSE !
Our upholsterer will charge £375 and need about 10 metres of fabric ( will depend on whether you want 2 fabrics used or just one ) .
Not the cheapest chairs , but try finding anything close in quality today , or compare with better known designs such as the Papa Bear chair by Hans Wegner . |
